Jeff Metcalf Appointed as CFO of Userful

Userful Corporation announced that Jeff Metcalf has been appointed as their new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Mr. Jeff Metcalf brings over 20 years of finance and accounting experience to his new role as CFO as well as extensive technology leadership experience. Before joining Userful, Mr. Metcalf held key finance leadership roles as VP Finance and divisional CFO, working for Calgary technology enabled companies DIRTT Environmental Solutions and Pure Technologies. Prior thereto, Mr. Metcalf held several Controller roles, and started his career with KPMG, where he progressed to Audit Senior Manager. As CFO, Mr. Metcalf will serve on Userful’s executive team and lead Userful’s G&A department, supporting the growth and long-term vision of the company.

Jeff Byal Named Alludo Chief Financial Officer

Alludo has announced that it has named Jeff Byal as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Alludo is the global technology company behind the Parallels, Corel, MindManager, and WinZip brands.

With over three decades working in industries including software, technology, retail, and fintech, Byal brings a wealth of expertise in driving organic and inorganic profitable growth. He most recently served as CFO for Avetta where he was responsible for integration of recent acquisitions, strengthening and streamlining global treasury, finance & accounting operations, and building out an in-house legal team. In his role as CFO at Alludo, he is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting, finance, treasury, and tax operations, as well as pricing strategies, and corporate development.

Byal has been a CFO for more than 25 years and has worked with a diverse range of companies, from early-stage operations to $1 billion global organizations. His impressive track record includes raising over $3 billion in debt and equity financing, leading more than $1 billion in M&A transactions, and managing multiple platform exit transactions.

Concord Technologies Names Brian Rice Chief Financial Officer

Concord Technologies announced that Brian Rice has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In his leadership role, Rice will drive financial, operational, and people strategy and performance to facilitate further growth of the company whose solutions help healthcare enterprises reduce administrative burdens of manual document processing and enhance outcomes with artificial intelligence-enabled data management solutions. Rice will be reporting to Concord’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Chris Moore.

Rice comes to Concord from MediaPro, where as CFO, he led all finance activities for the security training solutions company. Prior to that, he served as CFO at NetMotion Wireless, which delivers software solutions to increase data security and productivity. He held the same title for Dexter & Chaney, now part of Trimble, where he oversaw significant revenue and growth of business and operations in the construction software technology sector. Other previous experiences included financial leadership positions, co-ownership, and board membership of technology and healthcare-related enterprises.
